After you finish the above steps, try to re-add retention tags into default MRM policy and save it.
I was able to re-add the default tags back to default MRM. However I don't see anything that addresses how to recover calendar items deleted by mistake. As far as emails go, once these policies have been applied how do we recover emails deleted by mistake. With regard to the 2 year archive--is the 2 years from the date we started Office 365 or is it 2 years from when the email was created or is it from when it was modified? Thank you.
