We created a website and company email addresses with Office Live Small Business (OLSB). Around 6 months ago we transitioned to Office 365. Our free trial with Office 365 is coming to an end and we want to discontinue using 9 of our 10 email addresses we created with them and setup the same addresses with AmenWorld webmail which is free. For example we want john.tait@lothiantractors.com to be able to access the same email address through AmenWorld as he did through Office 365. The only email address I want to keep with Office 365 is our admin@lothiantractors.com email address so we can continue to maintain and edit our existing website.
Next ask them to remove your exsisting MX records and replace them with a single MX record of 'mx1.lothiantractors.com'.
They will not give me a straight "yes we can do that" or "no we cannot do that" answer. Instead they keep pushing me towards other plans. They don't want to hear me when I tell them that I am not interested in paying for simple email capability. All we need is for our staff members to send and receive emails. No fancy apps or docs.
When I asked to speak with technical support I was told that they couldn't do that as I am a P1 plan subscriber. I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Microsoft.
Can anyone suggest anything at all to help with these issues?
This is a matter of urgency as we could potentially lose all of our data within the next two weeks. With the holidays fast approaching I would like to get this resolved.
