I created my Exchange 365 account, not knowing that I shouldn't use a username that already exitsts on my current Exchange 2003 server. When I created the migration batch (cut-over), all users imported fine except the one that already existed. So I created a new admin user, deleted the old one and tried again. It didn't work either, this time I had an error message that says the SMTP proxy is already used. I figured this was because the user still existed in the garbage bin and I removed it using PowerShell (I followed this guide: http://www.amdocorp.com/Pages/Removedeletedmailbox.aspx ). It seems to have worked since I no longer see the user in the Deleted Users view. Then I deleted the migration batch and created a new one. This time, all mailboxes imported fine but for the troublesome user, it only created the mailbox, not the user! What I mean is that I see the mailbox in the Outlook admin page, but not in the Admin Overview/Management/Users panel. What's going on?
Please help!
