Partially redelegated domain - endless loop

Hi O365 Team,

I am currently planning to go for P1 (Small Business Plan). As I am having already quite a few other DNS-entries in my DNS-zone (mycompany.com), the plan is to have a partially redelegated domain in O365.

There are too many dead end roads on this path. I am looking for your feedback if I have misunderstood something wrong/done wrong:

1. Initial thought: Use the 5 steps wizard that pops up directly after subscribing O365 "Add your domain to O365":

The system is asking me to create a TXT record in my DNS zone. No problem. Verification process went smooth - until step 5. All the sudden, the system is asking me to enter the nameservers of Microsoft (instead of continuing to use mine). There is no chance to da a partial delegation of the zone via this wizard.

The only way out was to cancel the wizard, remove the domain and start over with approach number 2.

2. It seems that the only way to create a  "partially redelegated domain" is through the powershell and get the verification information also within powershell.

This works and also the status within the control panel shows that the added domain is verified. BUT -- make sure you have written down the service records (before the verification is done) in these dialogs. You will never be able to see it again. Obviously something is broken here:

As soon as the domain is verified, you can either go to the tab " Domain properties". It states correctly that the domain is partially redelegated. And "To see a list of DNS records associated with your Microsoft Office 365 services, click the DNS settings tab". If you are then going into the tab "DNS settings", it is stated that "This domain is not currently associated with any services. Add services to be used by your domain by editing the domain intent on the Domain properties tab, and then return to this page to view the associated DNS records." So we are back at start.

So far I was unable to ever recheck, how the srv/CNAME-records for my domain should look like. Especially the MX record seems to be different for each domain.

Is there any way to lookup the "to be values" without starting over again?

Thanks
