Hi Hettluth,

Based on your descriptions, I understand you want to use the custom domain as your public website address in a P plan. Please correct me if I’ve misunderstood it.

In regard to the issue, in a P plan, after you change the name servers to Office 365 and host DNS records in Office 365, Office 365 will create all the DNS records for you. Since we can’t access to the website using the custom domain, I assume that you haven’t change the public web address to the custom domain in Office 365 yet. To solve it, please try the steps below:

  1. Login in MOP(Microsoft Online Portal). Click “Admin” in the top.
  2. Click “Domains” in the left panel, note there is an option for changing the public website address, click “Change address” in the menu.
  3. Wait for at most 24 hours, Office 365 will create a DNS record for the public website using the custom domain.
  4. You can also select the domain in the list, then click “Manage DNS” to see if the record is created in the DNS records page.
