Hi Sole,

I understand that you’ve subscribed to Office 365 for small businesses and professionals (P Plan). To achieve the requirement, you can refer to the steps below.

1. Verify your domain in Office 365 tenant. But do not add the name server (NS) records in the final step of the verification process. After your domain is verified, click Cancel in the Add a domain wizard. Don’t continue to the page where you update your NS records to point to Office 365 name servers. You’ll do this later.

2. Create email accounts with this domain in Office 365.

3. Set up website redirection.
At this step, you should create an A record to redirect traffic to your website on the DNS manager tab. You can contact your current hosting provider about the IP address for your website, therefore, you can create the A record to route DNS traffic there.

Add the A record here:

4. Update your domain NS records to point to Office 365.

For detailed information, you can refer to this article:
Move your email to Office 365 and keep your current public-facing website

After this, mail flow is directed to Office 365, but traffic to the website will continue to go to your current hosting provider.

Thanks,
Young Yang
