Hi Adam,

Before moving on, I’d like to clarify the case first: You want to know how to move your new domain to Office 365, and add your custom DNS records in Office 365, please correct me if there’s any misunderstandings.

Base on your description, I assuming that you’re using Office 365 P1 plan since you’ve change your NS server to Office 365. For how to add your own domain in Office 365, please refer to:  Add your domain to Office 365

After all the steps done, you can add your own DNS records in Office 365 by the following steps:

  1.  Login into MOP(Microsoft Online Portal) as a administrator, click “Admin” in the top.
  2. Click “Domain” Tab in the left panel, check the checkbox beside the domain that you want to modify
  3. Click “Manage DNS” in the bottom of your domain list
  4. In the pop up page, click “New”---the record type you want to add (Currently support A, AAAA, TXT, CNAME)
  5. Fill in the host name you want and the value that you want to add
  6. Click “Save”, please note it may take up to 72 hours for the records  take effect.

Please let me know if this is not what you want.
