Is it possible to have the Contacts database on my Office365 account restored to a specific prior date (i.e. does Office365 keep regularly scheduled backup copies of data in our accounts)? For example, could you restore the Contacts to the exact data it contained a week ago or 14 days ago?
I recently tried to re-configure my Outlook 2011 for Mac, Office365 account and iCloud sync settings so that I would have less duplication of contacts across my devices. At one point, I removed all the contacts from Office365 in the hopes that my Outlook database (which I had cleaned/de-duplicated) would sync up to Office365 and put me back on track. Instead when it connected, Outlook started deleting contacts 1 by 1 in its database (I have over 5000 contacts) and I lost about 150 contacts before I was able shut everything down and reset the three components up in such a way that they sync correctly and eliminated all the duplication issues. I dont know what contacts I lost and am hoping there is a restore point saved in office365 somewhere.
Thanks,
Ryan
