SBS 2008 to office 295 exchange single sign on question.

My understanding is that because of sbs 2008 not supporting trust relationships its not possible to use single sign on.  This means that the active directory password and office 365 passwords would be dif for the users.  Is there any other way to sync these passwords without having to do it manually?
