Hello all,
Hopefully someone has some insight into this.
I have an external web-hosting company. My website is hosted and exposed as a URL (not a direct IP). For example: http://www.myco.com/~mydirectory
I've forwarded my Name Servers to Office365 for Outlook, SharePoint Team Site, etc, etc. and want to keep my website hosted exactly where it is.
So, now, I have Office 365 as the Name Server for my domain and would like to forward any www traffic to http://www.myco.com/~mydirectory
This doesn't want to work. I try an A record www creation and it's IP or nothing.
I try a CNAME www creation and it seems to have a dislike for the tilde ~ symbol.
My previous DNS provider just allowed an option cleverly named... web-forwarding.
Any ideas?
