Thanks Linda. We have the Small Business Premium Preview version of Office 365 running in a small charity. We want to synchronise documents and email for a small HQ team of volunteers. The vast majority of the email addresses on our domain are for volunteer associates around the world who have never and will never use the organisation's IT facilities. Their email never comes to the office as it is automatically forwarded by our web host. The domain simply provides a common identity.
A subscription fee for all those volunteers who never use our IT is out of the question.
We operate a public website with a subdomain for each country we have volunteers.
If I understand you correctly, Office 365 Small Business Premium cannot cater for our situation on either count (emails or website) so we should continue with our present arrangements for them. "Simple Domain Sharing for SMTP Email Addresses" looks promising for HQ, thank you.
Perhaps Office 365 can manage documents and email for HQ if we leave the website and all other email where it is.
From what I've described, is that the way we should go?
David
