I was told by two techs that soon you would be able to add the E1 plan to your existing P1 plan.
One tech actually told me that they should be able to do it now by just adding the E1 plan to your account then you can go in the admin page and add the E1 to each user.
The other told me that in the new release of 365 that should be out in the next month that this option will be available. I mentioned this to another rep from Microsoft and they told me they had no knowledge of this and the only way is to migrate all the accounts over to the E1 from the P1.
My question is does anyone know if any of the above is true? Why would they even say it if they didn't know it worked? Could it just be that some techs just don't know that this could be done?
I don't want to migrate all the users over as its a timely process and I already have 60 users on 365, 10 are still on a temp trial version.
Most my users aren't really computer literate so it will be a tough process changing them over. I have another 20 + users that I need to move over from other domains that we have but I can wait a month or two if in the new release I will be able to add the E1 plan to the account with no headaches.
I already have the migrate instructions but again it will just cause issues within my company and I just can't afford that.
It would actually be easier for me to switch back to my previous email provider.
I need someone to really seak out a top tech with Microsoft to help my issue.
Matt
