Search or Indexer in Outlook 2013 does not work for any Email folders

Basically, I am running Windows 7 32-bit and had Office 2010 installed. I upgraded to Office 2013 and chose the option to remove Office 2010. My issue is that none of the folders in my Outlook are “searching or seeing the email” and I get the error “We couldn’t find what you were looking for”.

When I first installed Office 2013, every time I started Office it would try to reinstall or re-configure some settings and one of the Search services (I cannot remember the name) it asked if I wanted to close it out but if not, it would have to restart my system in order to make the required changes.

In order to fix this, I at first tried reinstalling Office 2013 but that did not work. Next, I un-checked the Windows Search service, restarted my computer, reinstalled Office 2013, turned back on the Windows Search service and the error went away. So I guess whatever Office 2013 was trying to configure when I started a search in Outlook was being tied up by the Windows Search Service.

Anyway, the problem of “We couldn’t find what you were looking for” still exists, so I noticed that the “Indexing Service” was not ticked, so I checked that box off. I also re-built my index and I set my “main hard drive” (where Windows 7 and all my programs are installed) to allow indexing for all the contents. This was off because it is a SSD drive and I was trying to minimize the reads/writes but this will stay on for now until I can diagnose the problem.

Below is a screen shot of the Windows features which I have turned on.

So I wanted to know if anyone could help me fix this issue of not being able to search any of my email folders or rather Outlook not being able to see any of the emails.
