I use a company e-mail address that is hosted elsewhere. I do not want to move it to Office 365. When I use this company e-mail in Salesforce.com, it does not append my company address. It appears that Office 365 operates differently than SFDC. I do not want the onmicrosoft.com to be appended to my company e-mail address.
Also, I have a brand new computer with quad core processor, lots of RAM, solid state drive, etc. I see no reason for it to be freezing up after installing the desktop integrator or Lync.
I am beginning to see that Office 365 is not for me. I am a business owner, not an IT guy. Google apps and SFDC were very simple to set up and use from day one. The setup instructions for Office 365 and learning curve for Sharepoint, etc., is too much for me.
Not too sure where to go from here. Perhaps I need a Microsoft partner with better support that can hold my hand during set up.
