thank you Laith,

I went ahead and added her new email address in Admin | (Exchange) Manage | highlight her name | click Details | add her new email address under Email Options. Then back to Admin | (Management) Users | click on her name | Details | change the User name to the new name to change the primary email.

Hi Richard,

Based on your description, I understand the issue is that after creating a new user, it hangs at “Setting up Exchange Online... this may take a few minutes”.

I would like to confirm with you that if the issue still persists now. Actually, the provision process of new Office 365 users will take up to 24 hours in worst scenario. You can check later.

In addition, please check the Service Health in the left-navigation bar on the Admin page.

Thanks,
Allen Zhang

Hi alNV,

As TheLaith has posted, using a proxy address is the best solution to meet your requirement.

For more information, please refer to Proxy Addresses

Enable a Reporting Services feature

I have recently created a site template in Sharepoint 2010 Foundation and when I try to open it as a solution in Sharepoint Online it is giving me an error with a GUID of e8389ec7-70fd-4179-a1c4-6fcb4342d7a0 which I believe is the Reporting Services feature.  Is there any way I can open this solution in Sharepoint Online. I tried Powershell but it does not seem to recognize Get-Feature or Enable-Feature.

Thanks for any help in advance

Hi Irvin,

You are right. In P plan, there should be “Visitors” and “Members” folders.

However, in current SharePoint Online services, the invitation dialog is not configurable. Thanks for your suggestion and we’ll appreciate your time and efforts if you can submit Feedback to Microsoft to help us improving our services.

Nancy Xie

Hi Netbase1,

Is the Reporting Services that you have mentioned Access Service Report?

If yes, please refer to this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2634602.

If not, could you please provide the detailed steps that you import the site template to SharePoint online? You can also refer the information in this thread to check if you used the similar steps to import site template to SharePoint online.

In addition, currently the PowerShell is not available to import site template to SharePoint online directly.

Thanks,

Eben Liu

I run this command

Set-OwaMailboxPolicy -Identity OWAMailboxPolicy-Default -AllowedFileTypes .prg

the I run this command

get-OwaMailboxPolicy | select blockedfiletypes |Export-Csv D:\name.csv

and notice that .prg is still in the block list.  In addition we still receive a message like this

FILE DELETED

part.prg has been removed since it was found to match the FILE FILTER= ExchangeLabs File Filter List 1: <in> *.prg file filter.

Hi,

Nothing has changed. I know that 72 hours has not passed yet but I can't see what difference it is going to make. You can see from the DNS Lookup results I have shown below that the DNS record is set up OK. I can't see what else I can do..

Online Tools::DNS Record Lookup

Looks up the DNS record of a domain, supports A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT and SRV records.

Can't upload files to office 365 from Office 2010

Dear Sir/Madam

I have windows 8 and office 2010. I have windows firewall and windows defender turned on.

I can download files from my Office 365 sharepoint into office 2010 and I connect to sharepoint from office 2010. however I cannot save a file to sharepoint from office 2010. The upload centre always says the upload failed.

I have no problems with a computer that uses windows 7 and office 2010.

I look forward to hearing your solution.

Regards

Jack.
