Re: Paid for domain but not visible

Hi Keith,

Let’s clarify the information: when user accesses www.kernowecoclean.co.uk, he will be redirected to www.kernowecoclean.com

As the URL redirecting service is provided by the domain registrar, the above action should be performed on the domain registrar side. For more information, you can refer to using a URL redirection service with Office 365.

Please refer to the following steps to do so:
1, Re-delegate your www.kernowecoclean.co.uk domain name server at your domain registrar.
If you don't know how to do this, please contact your domain registrar (Melbourne IT)'s support and let them to do it for you.

2, Contact your domain registrar for the URL redirect service, to redirect the kernowecoclean.co.uk domain to kernowecoclean.com.

Thanks,
Ida Qiu

Receive the following Outlook 2010 error when attempting to setup Exchange in E-mail Accounts.  "The name cannot be resolved. The connection to Microsoft Outlook is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action".  I have sucessfully installed on two computers, but can't seem to get this last one to setup.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Office 365 P with Hosted site at Godaddy

Hi

I moved a domain (i.e. www.domain.com) to office 365, email and link are working fine but now I need to redirect people going to www.domain.com to a hosted site at Godaddy.com.

I have tried multiple things but nothing seems to work, I created an A record with the IP address and always get a pageok message from the site (I am assuming because I have a shared IP address). Also tried to add a Cname record from www.domain.com to the hosted domain www.hostedatgodaddy.com but it didn't work neither.

Rigth now I have the domain configuration with

A Record:

Host name             : @

Points to Address   : IP address from godaddy's where the site is hosted (shared IP)

CNAME Record:

Host Name              : WWW

Points to Address    : www.hostedatgodaddy.com (this address works directly in any browser)

Thanks in advance

Hi llmft,

To help resolve this issue, I want to collect the following information :

1.You mentioned that “I have successfully installed on two computers”, is your meaning that you add the same account on two computers successfully or add other accounts for different users in Outlook clients successfully?
2.Are there any other users who also cannot add the Office 365 account into Outlook client in your company?
3.Did you delete the account that cannot been added in Outlook 2010 in Office 365 before and recreate it again?

Additionally, please refer to the link below to troubleshoot the issue :

Outlook cannot configure a new profile by using Exchange Autodiscover for an Exchange Online mailbox in Office 365:

If you've created your custom domain name - Microsoft doesn't walk you through the whole process of pointing your domain to O365. I just went through this same craziness. From the threads I followed, I was headed down a rabbit hole of running MOSDAL to obtain logs in order to find out why autodiscovery wasn't working with desktop Outlook on my domain name. It turns out that the answer was very simple. You have to move your name servers to MS Online services.  To do that:

  1.  go to your O365 Admin page.
  2. Click on Domains in the left pane.
  3. Click on the radio button next to your custom domain name.
  4. Click on the Troubleshoot hyperlink above (and below) the domain names list.
  5. This will then walk you through the process to properly move your name service to MS's based on your DNS service provider.

That does it. For some reason, the O365 setup only walks you through confirmation of your domain name; and then falsely reports to you that the process is complete. If you're moving the entire domain (make sure you don't have a web site on that domain setup elsewhere); then following the instructions above will fix everything.

Hi Judi,

I have check the domain "shopgarfieldstreet.com" and "tacomatrophy.com" and found "shopgarfieldstreet.com" has been successfully verified on Office365. However, I can't find any verification record for domain "tacomatrophy.com". Can you double check that ?

Thanks, Neo Zhu

Aaron Yuan MSFT Support
We can achieve it by adding A record and CNAME record on Office 365 to point to the Website.

Thanks,
Aaron Yuan

The poster has spelled out very clearly that's what he's doing. Without a domain name it's hard to say why it isn't working.

Yesterday I tried to move my domain to Office365. I created a website in Office365 and can view it at the sharepoint address but not for real! Am I missing something? Everything looks OK in Office365 but nothing is displayed at my domain www.aadservices.co.uk.

Please could someone help me? Thanks.
