Re: Cannot add 2nd Office 365 email account to Outlook 2010 profile

Yes, I know that the domain currently points to another hosted Exchange service - I'm paying for it, and know exactly where it is (and look forward to canceling that service).  I want to use O365, which is considerably less expensive.  I want to get things set up first on O365, and then change the DNS entries (MX, autodiscover, etc.) to point to O365 when it's set up.  But I can't get that far because of the error, which indicates I have orphaned services *somewhere* is the MS realm of hosted services.

My wife (and kids) use addresses in the domain, and a multi-day outage is unacceptable to her business.

Hi DAVETHEPHOTO,

I would like to confirm if the issue occurs on other computer. I think the issue may be caused by web browser cookies. I suggest you clear IE cache or try to edit the website with other browser. In addition, please run the Set up and configure your Office desktop apps at https://portal.microsoftonline.com/download/default.aspx to check your PC for required updates and configure the machine and browser to work with Office 365.

Hi ahad,

In regard to the issue, we have received several related issues recently, and the root cause might be related to the service upgrade for SharePoint Online, you can find more detailed information via the link below:

Please see Allan MSFT's reply in the above thread. Currently our SharePoint team is doing further investigation on this issue. Once we get any new information about this, we will update it in the above thread. Apologize for the inconvenience here. In this moment, please let your customers to access your public website with a computer instead of mobile devices. Thanks for your understanding.

office professional plus trial

i am getting emails stating my trial version of office professional plus has expired.  what exactly does that mean?  i can't get an answer.  what services have i lost as a result?  i pay 12.75 a month for 2 users for steve's segway tours.

problems i am experiencing - 1) videos are not showing on my website, 2) website on phones being redirected to login page.  i seriously doubt these are related to the trial expiration (how can a website not be allowed to have video in the basic version, and why would people be denied access to my website), but what is going on?

Hi Przem,

Did you just create the subscription and then immediately attempt to sign into the Team Site?  If so, the site may not be available quite yet; it can sometimes take a few minutes for the site to finish provisioning and deploying.

Did you rename your site from TeamSite to something else? If you renamed TeamSite, this will break your top reference link.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to help me figure out what is causing this and what direction we need to go in to get this resolved.

Log into your admin portal and move you mouse over the following areas and note the address that appears in the lower left corner of the screen, the Team Site link at the top of the page, Under the Team Site Section (Visit Team Site) and under the Website section the URL of your website.

In addition, you can refer following article to resolve this issue.

Hi Steve,

In Office 365 small businesses plan, Office Professional Plus is another service subscription, user can trial it for 30 days.

1. Log into Office 365 portal Admin page.
2. On the left column, under Subscriptions, click Purchase.
3. On the right column, click View current subscriptions.

that's not what i asked. i think it was pretty clear what i asked.  i asked whether the trial period ending could have had any effect on the problems being experienced.  that is, could it have shut off mobile website viewing for the public?  my guess is absolutely no effect, and i'm suprised that hasn't been the response.  i am thorough so i cover all bases.  i would expect your support to do the same.

problem 2 as you call it is everything.  please concentrate on that as it is a major major problem and i and others experiencing it will be demanding reimbursement shortly.  escalate it immediately please.  it is very serious.  very.

Hi Kents,

I understand it is unacceptable for multi-day outage of your wife’s business, but if you want to change the email server, please refer to Kevin’s suggestion. You can change one domain first, if it is run well, change the other one.

Thanks,

Jason Jiang

Hi Ksuth,

Based on the information you post, I want to confirm some information with you:

Do you mean you try to configure the IP address for your public website in Microsoft Office 365?

If it is the case, to resolve this issue, please take one of the following actions:

l  If the IP address is incorrect, enter the correct IP address, and then click Next.

l  If the IP address is correct, click Next. When you are prompted with a warning message that states, "Are you sure you want to continue with this IP address," click Yes.

For more information, you can refer to the following article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2651177

If you do not have a public website, please select “No” when you add your domain to Office365. Please refer to the following picture:

Thanks,

Jason Jiang
