First of I would like to thank you for your prompt answer. I did check the procedure you described in your message. When I "Edit in Microsoft Excel" the excel file gives the notice "Read Only Excel File". I also check if somebody used the "checked out" feature but this is NOT the case. The check box is unchecked....
