Thank you for your post.

 

According to your description, I understand that you have purchased the Exchange Online Plan 1 for your users, however, there is no order number in the printable invoice page. If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to post.

 

Generally, the order ID will be displayed under the Invoice No in the Invoice file like the following picture show.

 

However, for a clear view about this issue, could you please paste the screenshots both about the printable invoice page and editable detailed page you mentioned in the original post?
 

To request the screenshots, I have sent a private message with a subject of <Purchase orders don't show on printable invoices> to you in case it contain some privacy of yours.

 

To access the private message:

-Go to the Your details section on the right side of the community site.

-Click Private messages.

-Click the subject title of the response to read the message

Sorry, I meant the actual purchase order that we create. I have found this now. Is there a way of viewing all customers invoices without having to find and assist, type in there domain, go into subscriptions and faff around?

There should just be a list of the people you administer in the partner section, its a lot of hassle.

Actually, an A record is used to associate a domain name with an IP address. However, if the IP address of your domain registrar isn’t a static IP address, you can delete this A record and use a CNAME record only.
 
Also I checked that it seems both http://mywebsite.com and http://www.mywebsite.com can access to the website, so would you please complain what do you mean by saying I want http://mywebsite.com and http://www.mywebsite.com to go to the same place but I don't know the IP address of the host? It seems you have successfully configured to enter the same website via two URLs.

Hi Itpromedia,

Office 365 and Windows Intune are two different programs which cannot be managed in one console. The default xxx.onmicrosoft.com domain cannot be used for Single Sign-On. I understand you may feel a little frustrating that these features are not available now. I would suggest you submitting your feedback at http://g.microsoftonline.com/0BX11EN/135. The Microsoft Product Team takes into consideration all suggestions and feedback for future releases.

For your first question - no we don't utilize Netscaler.

Apologies for the delay, I've been out of the country for the last week. It looks like that answers my question. I was hoping that we'd be able to do this without having to change our DNS records, but it looks like we'll have to setup a CNAME pointing to our current Sharepoint domain.

Hi A St,

Based on your description, I notice you created the two same email addresses with different display name. Generally, users in Office 365 are not able to create two same email addresses.
I’d like to suggest you double check the information you provide, and post back in the forum.

Hi Eben,

• The emails are sent in to either a group or individual addresses in Outlook

• These are transferred into relevant folders in Office 365 by several people.  

• Other departments/users require read access to the emails if they are working on the documents. This is the point where they can access the emails but are prompted to save to their network.

• All individuals are running Office 2010

Still running IE9 and all is OK however I have doubts that this will be the case if I have to reinstall IE8. If so I will contact you again.

Based on your reply, here is a way you can have a try to achieve the goal.:

1.Ask the related people to save the email to relevant folder in share point site.

2.Go to every folder, select Library toolsà Library, click the Connect to Outlook in the Connect & Export section.

3.The library will appear in the Outlook as a folder and you can access the content in it. Every time someone upload an email file to the library, you will can access the email in the outlook too.

Vivian, thank you for your reply.

I use a company e-mail address that is hosted elsewhere.  I do not want to move it to Office 365.  When I use this company e-mail in Salesforce.com, it does not append my company address.  It appears that Office 365 operates differently than SFDC.  I do not want the onmicrosoft.com to be appended to my company e-mail address.

Also, I have a brand new computer with quad core processor, lots of RAM, solid state drive, etc.  I see no reason for it to be freezing up after installing the desktop integrator or Lync.

I am beginning to see that Office 365 is not for me.  I am a business owner, not an IT guy.  Google apps and SFDC were very simple to set up and use from day one.  The setup instructions for Office 365 and learning curve for Sharepoint, etc., is too much for me.

Not too sure where to go from here.  Perhaps I need a Microsoft partner with better support that can hold my hand during set up.

Hi,

I was just using mywebsite.com as an example... I don't own that domain.

I understand that an A record can only be associated with an IP address.

Let me rephrase it (again, using mywebsite.com as an example): since there is no "URL redirect" option in office365.com's DNS manager, how can I have "@" (which, as I'm sure you know, represents the root of the domain: http://mywebsite.com) go to http://www.mywebsite.com without hardcoding an IP address over which I have NO control?

problems on the transition form Melbourne IT to Office 365

Dear friends at the Community,

 

I made a transition about 4 months ago from Melbourne IT to Office 365 so my domain name, e-mail services and website could come to be managed at Office 365. My annual membership at Melbourne was paid and the renewal date would occur on October, 01 2012. Everything was running ok and I was confident that all my services were transfered to Office 365 where I pay USD 6.00 a month.

 

Coincidentaly on October 03 2012 my website and custom e-mail sttoped working!!! So now I think I made something wrong during the supposed transition and probbly my services stayed with Melbourne and I was not aware of that. How can I found out if I became a full customer of Office 365 or if something went wrong? I honestly became confused about it. All I want is to have my little and beautiful website and my custom e-mail working at Office 365. Can you please help?

Hi,

A little more info would help, is the user trying to add a record, delete a record or what exactly are they trying to do. Also have any changes been made, and do all users get the same error in the same way.

Hi Carlos,

From looking at your domain name it is still pointing to Melbourne IT's servers for the A record (when you use it to go to www) but there is no MX records which what you use for mail routing.

What i think has happened is you moved your email to 365 and pointed your A record to the 365 servers. But as far as transferring your domain name registration i think that is still with Melbourne it. Also i don't think you can move the domain ownership to Microsoft. This you have to do with a domain company like 1&1 and go daddy.

I would go back and speak to MelbourneIT and see if they can do anything.

Thank you Nancy.

1. We are using plan P1.

2. The issue is intermittant but on all computers. Browsers IE 8 and 9.

3. The database is not used by anyone else in the client version but I have Access 2010 and when I go into it using that I have no problems. It is not something that the techs at some of the sites that use the database will allow them to do so those users can not use it through Access on their desktop.

I can synch the database but I am not sure how to re-upload it.

No changes were made to the database prior to the issue becoming a problem. All users get the same error but it is intermittent. The error typically occurs when a screen loads a form or subform so this could just be on the main screen or when they are trying to add a record.
