Hi Douglas,

Thank you for your effort.

Based on the NDR, it seems the recipient account have problem.

May I have more information to narrow down the issue as follows:

1. Where is the recipient located which have issue for this DNR?(on-premise server? or Cloud server?)

2. Have you tried to use other account sent mail to this recipient and got same issue?

3. When did this issue take place? (this is very important please provide distinct information)

Thanks,

Alex Du

Updating deleted domain DNS records

I recently deleted a domain from our Office 365 account but the DNS settings are still showing as at onmicrosoft.com. I've tried to re - add the domain and change the DNS but I can't re-verify the domain at all.

I just need the domain DNS changed to another host so I can get access to my emails. How to I change DNS from a previously hosted and deleted domain on office365?

Hi Martin,

where is the domain registered at, as this is where you need to make the DNS changes, not on 365?  If you let me know the domain name I can have a look at the registrar, to see where you need to go.

Hi Martin,

The details below show who your registrar is.  You will need to make the change at their DNS servers.  You should have login details for the Cpanel.

http://www.visn.co.uk

Domain name:

greenglobal.co.uk

Registrant:

British Worldwide Computers

Registrant type:

UK Limited Company, (Company number: 3281280)

Registrar:

Vision Internet Limited [Tag = VISIONINTERNET]

Cant Configure Outlook and Mobile Access

Hi all:

We have successfully configured our office 365 , everything configured correctly (I believe so) , but now we cant configure our outlook and mobile access however only one user could successfully configured his outlook and now he has access to his mails from his Iphone , although in terms of user configuration all other users have same configuration as this one the others are not able to configure their outlook and mobiles.

I tried to configure another account on the same laptop of that user who is already using outlook but it didnt work. I tried Microsoft remote test , for that users it's ok but for other it fails.

In outlook , when I try to config my outlook manually using IMAP or Pop it keeps telling me the password is wrong.

In manuals I have seen that there should be a an option to turn mobile access on or off under outlook section in admin overview but I  not even able to see this option , please help.

DNS Records

Hi,

I'm just setting up my company with  Microsoft Office 365 Trial (Plan P1). The setup guide asks me to update my domain name's nameservers but I'm not doing that as we have extremely complicated DNS records that I need control over. However I can't find any information about what DNS records I need to add manually, and I can't find a phone number to call or a way to open a technical support ticket to get help either. All help gratefully received!

Thanks,

Mat.

Hi MattKL,

I understand that the Epik domain cannot be verified.

It can take up to 72 hours for the record that you created to propagate through the DNS system. Also the time spent in propagating varies according to different domain registrars.

If the domain still cannot be verified, please capture a screenshot of the page at your domain registrar where you create the TXT record for further research. Meanwhile, please provide the domain name via private message.
• Go to the Your details section on the right side of the community site.
• Click Private messages.
• Click the subject title of the response to read the message.
• You can reply by using the form in this display.
• Click Submit Reply.
Thanks,
Ella Huang

Hi Stephanie,

Based on your description, I understand that you have added domains in Office 365, but it still not verified.

I have checked your DNS records and found there is no TXT record.

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below in correct order:

Please change the Name Server records on your domain registrar to your original name server. After that you can follow these steps below:

If you using Small Business plan, I suggest you delete your domain in Office 365 and re-verify it again.

You can refer to this link: onlinehelp.microsoft.com/.../hh397889.aspx

If you using Enterprise plan, you can’t change name server to ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com | ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com.

I suggest you delete your domain in Office 365 and re-verify it again. You can refer to this link below:

Thanks,

Jerry Cen

Hi Eric,

This is related to the ECP. In MOP everything looks alright. This occured when i tried to use the tool for migration in ECP to set up automatic migration on accounts and our  default domain was set to our secondary domain instead of the correct one.

So now i can not get rid of the faulty mail boxes wich was automaticly created by the system.
