Re: Can't verify domain ownership even after adding txt to dns record

Hi George,

As I mentioned that in my first post, you can follow the links to see the domain verify process.
For professionals and Small Businesses: http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-smallbusinesses/gg584174.aspx
For Enterprises: http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-enterprises/gg584188.aspx

Generally, we recommend set the TTL of DNS records to 3600 seconds or 1 hour, which will effect DNS propagation time through all DNS system. If the TTL is used more than 1 hour, it may take more times for DNS changes to take effect. However, it can take up to 72 hours for a changed record to propagate any assistance.
If you have any further questions, please post a new thread in the forum. Thanks for your understanding.

Best Regards,
Anna Shi

Hi ranesky,

According to your description, I understand that you want to upgrade the subscription from Office365 P1 plan to Office 365 Small Business Premium Preview.
Before moving on, I want to confirm some information with you:
1. Have you received some Office365 upgrade emails from Microsoft?
2. Is there some related information in the Office365 portal?

In the current few weeks we are trying to bring the newest version of Office365 to users. The upgrade is based on the region, so once the upgrade is started in your region, the global administrator will receive the upgrade email. If you have not receive the related email, I suggest you wait until it start in your region. Of course, I would like to keep close with you to solve the problem as soon as possible if you have.

Thanks for your understand.

Best Regards,
Eben Liu

Hi Britannic,

Bigfish is Office365 email gateway, also is FOPE that we often talk about.
Generally, this NDR message indicates an issue on the receiving server. For more information about this error, you can refer to the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2625264 .
To get more information about this issue and help you to solve this problem, please send the whole NDR to me via Private Message.
To access the Private Message :
1.Please go to the details section on the right side of the community site.
2.Click Private Messages.
3.Click the subject title of the response to read the message.
You can send test email to other external domain to check if get same NDR, such as Hotmail. You also can contact supplier’s administrator to solve this issue.

Thanks,
Jacky Ding

RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found

Hi

I recently removed a domain from our account but since then I have had problems with one of the Distribution Groups.

I'm receiving an NDR with the message :

5.1.1
RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found

I've tried deleting and re-creating the DG. I've also cleared the outlook autocomplete cache as some posts have suggested. This hasn't resolved the problem.

It appears that external emails are coming through okay but internally we receive a bounce back. Also, rules that reference the domain no longer work correctly.

We are using Office365 Small Business and Outlook 2013.

Does anyone have any additional suggestions?

Thanks

Carl

I can try and help. One thing to note is that there is no support for Small business P1 plans and there are service requests for all the E plans.

Did you install the desktop applications? Did you add all the required DNS entries to your private and public DNS servers?

If you provide the external domain name, I can check.

Is there a system that you can sign up to receive Service Health Notices and also Planned Maintenance Notifications?

I would like to get a txt and/or email alerts when the service has various alerts on their health page and also when planned maintenance is scheduled.

What kind of notifications and options are available?

Hello Hampstead string quartet,

You can first clear the cache data and cookies of your browser, just as mchv2.0 mentioned. And also, you can refer to the suggestion above.

Thanks,

Hi,

As a Microsoft Cloud Partner I would like to start using CRM Online. I did not order CRM Online via the Office 365 portal but via www.microsoftcloudpartner.com because of the partner benefits. Now I can use CRM Online but I need to authenticate with my Live ID, not my Office 365 ID. I've noticed that customers who order CRM Online via the Office 365 portal authenticate with their Office 365 ID, they even get a link in the Office 365 portal.

Can 'transform' my subscription or can I order a new subscription from the Office 365 portal including the benefits for partners?

Re: Email sending but not receiving

Hi LizaC,

Based on your description, I know that you cannot receive the emails with you customer domain.

I have checked the customer domain with you, but I found that there are two MX records in your domain register, but there is no MX records used for Office 365. It is may be the reason for the issue.

If you are using the Small Business plan (P plan), There are two options to you:
1. You can change you name server to Office 365, Please refer to the following link: http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-smallbusinesses/gg549203.aspx
2. If you don’t want to change the name server to Office 365, you need to add the DNS records to Office 365. For send/receive emails, you need to add the MX record to your domain register. I also suggest you add the TXT record for Exchange Online.
About how to get the DNS records information, please refer to the following steps:
Sign in Microsoft Online Portal (MOP)>click Domains under Management in Admin page>select the customer domain, click View DNS settings, you will get the DNS records information.

If you are using Enterprise plan (E plan), you need to add the DNS records to Office 365.
About how to gather the DNS records information from Office 365 and how to add the DNS records, please refer to the following link:

Hi caitlinokane,

You said Outlook cannot work on offline mode, you can resolve this issue by turning on Cached Exchange Mode.

A copy of your mailbox is stored on your computer. This copy provides quick access to your data and is frequently updated with the mail server. When working on Cached Exchanged Mode, even if you work offline, your data is still available to you.

You can refer to the articles below to enable Cached Exchanged Mode.

For Outlook 2010

For Outlook 2007
office.microsoft.com/.../turn-on-or-off-cached-exchange-mode-HP001232935.aspx

Besides, you said you’re advised to do the free trial of the full office 365. Which plan are you using? You can refer to these links to get help from Office 365.

Office 365 for small business and professionals (P Plan)

Office 365 for enterprise (E Plan)

@ KelseyE, many thanks for your information.

Thanks,
Young Yang
